Originally established in the 1950’s for ranching purposes, Cameron Park has transformed itself into one of the most luxurious cities in the entire area even by the most discerning of California standards. This relatively new community was once a gold mining focus point after gold was discovered in California in 1848, this led to the 1849 Gold Rush.
